We have kept pretty busy since I last wrote! Thank you to all the lovely Clients that have kept us that way!  OldSchoolPinUps is happy to say that Love is good for us! This Valentine's Day many lovely ladies came in to be photographed for the object of their affection!  The Pink Room and Large Rose Covered Heart created by yours truly, was a popular theme for their pin up photos!  

Just before Valentine's Day, a wonderful website called DailyCandy.com came to us to do an article about our work. DailyCandy, sends out daily emails about groovy and fabulous things to do, or purchase.  Their categories range from Home, Fashion, Beauty & Fitness, Lifestyle, House & Home, Food & Drink, and Arts & Culture. Your group, will be treated to a quick Burlesque lesson, "How to work your Boa and take off one glove with Pizzazz!"  we now offer the group shot on any set you wish, as a gift from us for doing your Bachelorette Party with us and the Bride is given a veil made just for her to keep and to wear either for her shoot and/or her party after the shoot, in the color of her choice. (Our last beauty chose hers in Pink as she n her gang were going out to Hula Hula and her Tiki Dress was turquoise with big pink flowers on it. Have you ever desired to be on stage in a Cabaret or Burlesque show? Well now that dream can come true! Come join the fun at Trixie Lane's Kindergarten of Burlesque! Enjoy five fun lessons and follow up with a recital at The Rendezvous Jewel Box Theatre! Next class begins April 14th. The price is 350. Learn the art of the tease, from guest instructors like Kitty Baby, Ravenna, Black and Tamara the Trapeze Lady. Fleur Du Mal will be on hand to teach her methods of costuming and pasties creating! Of Course Trixie Lane is your Kindergarten Teacher. We have 3 seats open  in our April 14th class. Class is limited to 8 to ensure optimum attention for each student. You gotta check out the newly improved Tiki Set! Lance is one groovy ebay hunter! He made a wonderful purchase out of Tacoma! They were from a restaurant that was changed from Chinese to Home Style cooking. The trees are Banana and Palm, fake of course, but industrial strength! They are positively HUGE!  We have also incorporated the Bar in the Tiki set, giving you even more options to shoot against!  

In honor of our newly improved Tiki set, I have ordered adorable costumes in many sizes from Fleur Du Mal! She is making a number of Leopard outfits, sarongs, bikinis, jungle girl dresses, and halters with shorts and some darling Sailorette costumes out of Red Polka Dot and Royal Blue, cute Halters  with the red with big white collars and shorts with big white buttons on them and a and a Pirate Costume! We already have many Tiki outfits, like vintage bathing suits and tiki dresses but this will be off the charts!  Fleur is also making an adorable French Maid Costume for the Bachelor Pad Set . They will be in soon!

One more thing, you know how it is a big deal for musicians and actors to make it to "Carnegie Hall"? Well we made it to Carnegie hall too! With our head shot of Alex Borstein! She and Seth MacFarlane (Creator of Family Guy) appeared at Carnegie hall for a Benefit for the Writer's In their strike.
